WaitClaim (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates waitclaim.com and the WaitClaim driver app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it’s handled.
Information we collect
- Account info: name, email address, phone number, and company/truck count you provide when signing up.
- Check-in data: GPS coordinates and timestamps captured only at the moment you tap “Check In” or “Check Out” — we do not track your location continuously or in the background.
- Bill of Lading photos: if you upload one, it’s stored privately and attached to your generated invoice.
- Broker details: facility, broker name, and broker email you enter for a given stop, used solely to generate and send that stop’s invoice.
How we use your information
We use this information to operate the check-in/check-out timer, calculate detention time, generate PDF invoices, and email them to the broker you specify. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Third-party services
We rely on the following providers to run WaitClaim, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own security practices:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Resend — email delivery for account confirmations and invoice emails.
Data security
Your check-in, invoice, and account data are protected by database-level access rules so that only you can read or modify your own records. Bill of Lading photos and generated invoices are stored in private, non-public storage.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@waitclaim.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as WaitClaim evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
